Dear customers.

Thank you very much for using the Weather Data API.

This time, a discrepancy was found between the technical specifications of the daily forecast (for Japan) and the delivery data.
We would like to inform you that there has been a change in the content of the response.

【Date and time of change】
November 06, 2023 09:30

【Target Contents】
・Forecast for Japan (daily/10 days ahead) API (Basic plan)
・Forecast for Japan (daily/14 days ahead) API (Premium plan)

*Limited to customers who are using v2. There is no impact on other contents such as hourly forecasts and observations.
*If you are currently using v1, please migrate to v2 as soon as possible.

【Details of change】
For the initial date (initial_date) of the response header, the existing response sample was (initial_time).
In accordance with the technical specifications, the modification to “initial_date” was made.

Old: initial_time → New: initial_date

【Future Response】
For customers who are using the current “initial_time” item in the forecast for Japan request program,
we apologize for the inconvenience, but please change it to “initial_date” in accordance with the technical specifications.

We apologize for the change without prior notice to our customers.
In the future, we will notify you in advance if there is a change in the content, so thank you for your understanding.
